I would like to share a story we named: “Az dasti kholi to janobi Oli” – “From the Empty Hand to His Excellency the President.”
When we started our journey, we had neither local seeds nor a seed bank. The work did not begin entirely from nothing, however. In 2020, we had supported two women in Jafr village and Mazor village in Rasht to create small seed banks in their own homes, the first, quiet steps. Their activity reached only their own neighbors.
